This multi-disciplinary approach combines strategy, experiences, and technology, allowing quick transitions between problem-solving and delivering value. To drive this exponential growth and reach business goals, attracting and retaining new talent is essential.
Currently, the career site lacks compelling content to attract the right talent. Moreover, the absence of brand storytelling makes it hard for candidates to align themselves with Avanade's mission and values. Our new design approach aims to engage audiences and meet their expectations. This allows candidates to embark on a tailored journey with content that speaks to their interests and aspirations, creating a candidate-centric experience.
We began with thorough research and analysis, including competitor benchmarking, navigation analytics, content audits, interviews, and surveys. Through this process, we discovered what candidates find essential:
Transparency: Candidates want a clear understanding of what roles actually involve.
Culture: It's crucial for candidates to learn about the company culture, values, and how these influence daily experiences.
Authenticity: Hearing directly from employees, rather than just corporate communications, is highly valued.
Personal Development: While career development is important, candidates prioritize knowing the specifics of the work they'll be doing before they join.
We replaced the stock photos on the existing site with real photos of Avanade employees, bringing a more authentic and relatable feel. The content is tailored to provide a personalized experience for candidates with different areas of expertise.
Each persona begins by showcasing an actual Avanade employee's passion for their career path, mirroring the candidate's interests in the same role. A CTA button linked with the header image takes candidates directly to the job search board, eliminating the need to scroll down the page.
The rest of the content supports the persona by using storytelling to guide the audience from a current situation, through a disruption, to a transformed outcome.
"Wave" is Avanade's core identity, symbolizing adaptability, scalability, and resilience. We visually enhanced Avanade's brand identity and tone of voice to resonate with candidates through compelling storytelling. This approach helps candidates understand the realities of life at Avanade and the end-to-end work experience. Additionally, the new site streamlines the application process, making it easy to find open positions and locations quickly.
